Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Woodburn Ambulance partners with first responder agencies in north Marion County to provide 9-1-1 emergency services 24/7. Our team of experienced EMS professionals works with cities, counties, fire departments, hospitals, and government agencies to ensure that patients receive the best service with the highest level of patient care.
Held to high performance standards
Our staff receives rigorous training and continues education to meet standards higher than the requirements of Oregon State EMS laws. Our Oregon Paramedics are trained in Pediatric Advance Life Supports (PALS), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation for Health Care Providers (CPR) along with specific specialty courses each year.
Paramedics defibrillate, administer medications, and perform other invasive maneuvers required in emergency situations. Our paramedics operate under progressive standing orders, which include advanced airway procedures (paralytics), liberal treatment protocols, and a highly developed trauma system.
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation
For individuals unable to walk or move in a wheelchair, Woodburn Ambulance provides quality basic life support ambulance service. Staffed with an advanced life support team, patients discharged from a hospital, transferring from a care facility, or returning to a private residence are assured of safe, comfortable care.
